This bed and breakfast accommodation is set in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd at the foot of the Clwydian range.

Close by is the Cathedral City of St Asaph. Whether you are looking for golden beaches, rugged hills, or historical castles, there is always something new to see and discover in this wonderful part of Wales. Bodelwyddelan Castle is just down the road.

The North Wales Borderlands, Snowdonia, and Anglesey in North Wales, and Chester just over the border in England are all within easy reach.

There is plenty of local walking, including the Offa's Dyke Path. For those wanting to explore higher peaks, the mountains of Snowdonia are nearby which are great for hiking, climbing and mountain biking.

The famous castles and steam railways of North Wales are waiting to be visited, including the castles of Conwy Castle, Rhuddlan Castle and Caernarfon Castle. Steam railways include the Ffestiniog Railway, Welsh Highland Railway, Snowdon Mountain Railway, and the Llangollen Railway.

Location

Tan-yr-Onnen is accessible from the A55 North Wales coast road which connects to the M6 via the M56, and is ideally located for exploring the many attractions of North Wales. It is an ideal stopover for the ferry to Ireland from Holyhead.
